As we transition into fall, I start craving comfort food-type dishes, especially ones that don’t take all day to make, because despite still working from home, I find that I have even less time to cook!

The bratwurst adds nice seasoning to this dish, complemented by the sage. The apple juice adds a touch of sweetness to the dish too.

The combination of cannellini beans and bratwurst is nice and comforting without being overly heavy. The apple juice cooks down and thickens a bit, so it’s great to sop up with some bread. I love the simplicity of this dish, and it’s definitely been heavy in our dinner rotation recently!

What kind of brats are these? They dont look like a traditional brat.
Really enjoyed this; not your traditional bratwurst dish. Very hearty and filling. Will make again!
