It should come as no surprise that my go-to gifts tend to be food related. I love gifting Philadelphia-themed gift baskets, assorted tea presents, and engagement cookies. New to my list are these beautiful gift boxes from a*pour toi.
The founder, Julie Hasson, began this company recently to provide gourmet treats that feel like they have been picked with care just for your recipient. Julie works with Dr. Tara D Seneviratne who specialized is nutrition and endocrinology to help select every item in the box.
This option is brand new, it is being launched to the public in mid-January. But I was given the opportunity to try a box beforehand. I was sent an a*pour toi box for free, but my opinions below are my own. a*pour toi, which translates to “a gift for you,” is also hosting a giveaway on my blog, with the winner receiving their very own gift box! (The box ingredients change monthly, so you may receive different treats than I did. Please see below on how to enter!)
The Mia Dolci Chocolate Vanilla Swirl crackers were just fantastic. I loved the sweet and crunchy cracker with what I think was a swirl of cinnamon. The best part, the box contained two servings at 150 calories each! The crackers are made with natural ingredients and contain no trans fats.
Cici’s Italian Butternhorns were so good I refused to share them. I literally hid them from my boyfriend. (I become super greedy about yummy desserts). The butterhorns, made with cinnamon, sugar, and walnuts were soft and chewy. They were the perfect size for a coffee or tea break.
Almondina’s Dark Chocolate Dipped cookies were another pleasant surprise. The cookie is kind of like a biscotti with almonds and raisins. Made with natural ingredients and no preservatives, the cookies have 2g protein and 1g dietary fiber per 2 cookies, not too shabby!
The Roy René Calisson d’Aix cookie was the first thing I tried in the box. Made with almonds, Provençal melon and orange peel, the cookie also has a wafer crust and is topped with royal icing. I’m almost happy there were only a few of these in the box because I couldn’t stop eating them!
Biscuiterie de Provence’ Aristocades biscuits are actually gluten-free and made with all natural ingredients. They had a nice crunch and the melon confit flavor was really tasty!
I’ve never met a chocolate truffle I didn’t like and the chocolate truffles in this package were no exception. They were dark chocolate so they weren’t overly sweet which I appreciated.

Nurturing relationships with gifts means “you’re special.” I gave my spouse a book today, because he was feeling down and I wanted him to know that he’s my special someone. I would love to give him an a*pour toi gift box!

These boxes sound fabulous! If I had that box, I probably would have split it up into little gifts for my Mom, daughter, and sister. Or maybe I would have just shared samples, depending on what was in the box!
