1cup8 oz milk of your choice (I’ve used whole milk and oat milk)
1teaspoonube powder
1teaspoonvanilla extract or ube extract
1teaspoonsugaroptional
1cup8 oz freshly brewed coffee (preferably a chicory coffee)
Instructions
To make your Ube Au Lait, insert the disc tip into the BaristaMaker. The disc tip is the best choice for thick foam and for mixing powders and other ingredients into the milk. (The impeller tip is best used for latte art and microfoam.)
Thoroughly shake your milk or milk alternative. Pour the milk of your choice, dairy or plant-based, into the BaristaMaker.
Add the in the ube powder, vanilla or ube extract, and sugar, if using.
Top with the lid. Choose the appropriate milk setting (you have 6 options: milk, half and half, almond, oat, soy, or coconut) on the BaristaMaker and choose “Hot Thick Foam.” The BaristaMaker will warm the milk as it frothes, while also perfectly combining all of the ingredients.
As you wait for the BaristaMaker to finish frothing, make your coffee and add 4 oz each to two cups.
You’ll know the BaristaMaker is finished when it beeps.
Pour the mixture into your prepared cups.
That’s it! You now have an Ube au Lait!
